I work with collections and communities of things to capture a moment in time.
These collections consist of household items, studio materials, and found objects.
Spread across my studio floor, a narrative surfaces that enables me to build a collective, resulting in contextual relationships of everyday objects. My work spans across media incorporating assemblage, installation, and drawing.
Having lived a nomadic lifestyle for many years across four continents, I am deeply interested in the intersection of place and identity. My intent is that the viewer will garner a
sense of belonging, coupled with a sense of place when engaging with an installation.
